Set on a 19 acres island 30min. by launch from the main island of Tongatapu Fafa Island Resort offers total peace and relaxation in a casual and friendly atmosphere. Staying in a bungalow (fale) built in tradition style and materials and with an open air bathroom is a unique experience of accommodation. The restaurant right on the waters edge is a meeting point of the resort where you can enjoy gourmet dining , especially seafood, and a variety of tropical cocktails.


8 superior and 5 deluxe fales set under palm trees a few steps away from the beach provide a maximum of privacy. They all have open air bath room, private verandah, walk in dressing room, hammock and ceiling fan. The interior, however, is of utmost comfort: The bathroom in the palm garden with WC abd stainless steel shower, large double beds with mosquito-net canopies. The spacious deluxe fales have also refrigerators.



The first couple of days should just be spent in the hammock getting into that South Pacific feeling. You may, if you so desire, go on a snorkeling adventure. Every day, "Kurti" will bring you to a new and breath-taking snorkeling area.

It's also worth just snorkeling around Fafa. And there are kajaks and a Hobie Cat for water-side island tour. Daily rounding the island on foot is also a highly recommended activity, as new discoveries always await you on the beach.
