Island of 'Eua	The island of 'Eua lies just a few kilometres off the south-eastern tip of Tongatapu - but when you are there it feels much more remote. Between June and November humpback whales swim past 'Eua en route to their breeding grounds in Vava'u and you can even watch these magnificent creatures from the beach.
Island of Ha'apai	After you have explored Tongatapu, jump on a plane, or if you are more adventurous, take the ferry and head north. When you reach Ha'apai you will find that time has stopped. There is no traffic, no crowds and no queues - just peace and tranquility.
Island of Niua	Across the north of Tongatapu lies the two Niuas – Niuatoputapu and Niuafo’ou. They are about 300 miles from the main island of Tongatapu. Niuatoputapu is surrounded by magnificent white beaches. The most beautiful beaches are on the north-west side of the main island. Niuafo’ou is the northernmost island of Tonga.
Island of Tongatapu	Tongatapu is home to the capital - Nuku'alofa. Here is the centre of Government and business and it is where the Royal Family lives. Maybe that is why the whales just keep coming back each year between June and November.
